Question: How do you change the low-beam headlight?

This may be easier than it looks, but I'm looking for a simple explanation to changing the low-beam headlight to my 2002 Honda Accord Coupe.

I have a 2002 Accord Sedan but I assume it's the same (or similar).

First, take a regular screw driver and gently push straight down on the electrical connector to "unplug" the lightbulb. Please note, there is also a little "latch" in the center of the connector that you need to simultaneously keep pressed in while gently pushing downward on the edge of the connector.

Once you have unplugged the light, you need to rotate the light bulb "housing" slightly in order to get the bulb out. If memory serves, you might need to push the housing towards the front of the car while turning it. It only needs to rotate about 10 or 15 degrees before it will come out. It's good to pay attention to how the little tabs are when you get the light out, but you should be able to figure out how the new one goes in even if you're not paying attention.

Once the old bulb is out. Remove your new bulb from the packaging - take care not to touch the actual bulb with your fingers. (I've read that the oil from your skin can cause the light to burn out prematurely.)

Put the new bulb back into the opening by lining up the "tabs with the slots" and gently twist in the opposite direction. As you do this make sure the electrical connector is "pointing down."

After the bulb is back in, reconnect the electrical connector (you should hear it snap into place). Now test your lights to make sure the new bulb works.

Hope this helps. :- )

Bulb fits but doesn't work with all three levels it only comes on with the day lights and the bright lights no the regular lights!

Car Brakes: How Do You Know When to Change Them?

By Zach Bowman For those who suffer a daily commute through heavy traffic, your vehicle's braking system can bring thousands of pounds of metal, plastic and empty Starbucks cups to a stop hundreds of times before you get to work. It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
